Hi SB, We have a question for test condition. For AOSP version, we don't have VPN to play SKB content and also AOSP has no youtube to play 4Kp60 video. We can try to install software into DUT, but it seems not correct for AOSP version because the realistic condition is no youtube in AOSP OTT box. So could you provide the test condition for us? Dear SB The tck is clock cycle time, the measurment value is 757.45ps The tDQSH is differential input high pulse width, spec: Max=0.54*tck The tDQSL is differential input low pulse width, spec: Max=0.54*tck Even the test results is out of spec, the Samsung think it is accepable for the value. Hi SB, I understand your concern but it's hard for us to get the official letter since the Yosun who is TW local distributor of Samsung told us Samsung will not send this kind of email. From Samsung point of view, they just a component vendor and will not guarrantee the performance for our product. Anyway, we are negotiate with Yosun FAE to see if there is any way to get the internal approval email from Samsung about our test report & test result. Hopefully, it's helpful for us to prove our test report for SKB. |

Hi Sean Thank you for updating the RGMII Timing test. 1. according to your EVT report, the waveform has a horizontal and vertical cursor line. So it is easy to check the timing at 50% position but, this BFX-UH200's report has only vetical line. It is difficult to check the timing at some waveforms (see the below picture.) Could you please add the horizontal cursor line at waveform like BFX-AT100's report. 2. Dear Mr. Fu-chiang Young, I have question. I said that you commented above. But your report said that 3. Test Result The test results are all pass under 3W. Note: We attached test result of BFX-AT100 test result because the Test of SW and HW are the same to BFX-AT100. According to your report, you didn't test all power consumption test. But my word is that only passive Standby power consumption and booting time can be skipped. So active Standby power consumption and normal operation power consumption should be tested and add a data on your report. Did you test Active standby power consumption and normal operation power consumption with AOSP SW ? |

Hi Mr.Yoon, Fu-Chiang already finished power consumption measurement for 5pcs boards with AOSP SW(see the report upload by Fu-Chiang on 9/9, 19:07). So, we will verify Active standby power consumption later on. BTW, does SKB require the number of test samples? I would suggest that we measure 2pcs boards for SKB reference. Is it OK with you? |

Hi SB, For power consumption DUT quantity, we are OK to provide you 5pcs boards test result. However, we only have 2pcs boards on hand now.And we have another 3pcs boards located at our HsinChu HWQA site. There is one for Ethernet SI test and the others for thermal test. Our QA team is arranging thermal test for us but still not confirm the starting date yet(may start from next Monday(9/23)). Therefore, we will provide you complete test result after we finished the thermal test. We will confirm and update the schedule to you later. For thermal test, we will provide you confirmed schedule as well later. Thanks. |

Dear SB, Since Samsung failed to solder test kit on PCB, so we have no way to measure the tDQSH&tDQSL timing again on our board. Due to this reason, we ask Samsung Taiwan to negotiate with their HQ RD design team and give us an reply on why they accept the test result. And finally, they agree with it but it needs time to communicate between Samsung Taiwan AE team and HQ design team about this. Since this may related to Samsung's design margin, they need some time to provide the reason before getting internal approval from their top manager. Normally, the whole process may take around 1 month. Please be understanding and stay tuned. Thanks. |
